I got my laptop re-programmed because something happened to it. Since it was re-programmed I had to re-download my Sims 2 game. After it finished downloading and installing I tried to launch the game but it said my license limit has been reached, and it said to contact the EA support team for help. I did contact them but they haven't contacted me yet. Why is it not working? I paid for this game I'll be really pissed if I cant play it anymore. I will call the EA support team and scream at them if I have to because this is ridiculous!

well ea learned its lesson so the limited installations have been removed.
anyway, it was ea's way to prevent piracy. if someone puts their code online, anyone can install the game, but with only 3 installations, it makes you ponder whether or not you want to share your code. if you share it, and you need to reinstall, you're screwed.
it takes several days to get a response. you can try chatting live with someone if you don't have the patience.
