Sims 3 Expansion disc? Help?
Okay so this Christmas I got my first 2 expansions to sims 3, I've gotten into the future and island paradise, I installed island paradise first and played that, and after a few days I installed into the future. Played that for a few days then wanted to play island paradise again, but when I put the disc in for island paradise, it wouldn't accept it, and told me to enter the disc of into the future. Why is that? I can still play island paradise and the items from that version still show up, but still, why does that happen?

The expansion packs are installed into the base game. It then uses the latest released expansion, in your case into the future, to play. All the content is included when you run into the future
As desbrina says, the game itself uses the newest and latest expansion that came out not the latest one that you installed on your computer.
