Im active duty and after getting results from an mri the doc said i have a small cyst in my vertebrae but that its nothing to worry about... i have back spasms that are occuring more frequently and lasting longer, with a burning sensation that lasts all day. The MRI didn't include the region that im having pain in. Any ideas of what would be causing the back spasms around T6-T11 vertebrae?

I'm so sorry you are going through this :( I'm not sure what could be causing this, but I would highly, highly suggest that you see a chiropractor. They can more accurately assess the problem and then adjust your back to correct these spasms. Chiropractic work has helped me immensely, and it sounds like you may be able to benefit from it. I hope this will help you! Feel better! (:
