You get your spacers first then your braces they Rae little rubber band things they put in between your teeth that they think need spacing which I thought that spacers hurt more than my braces but they don't hurt that bad lol but when you get braces they dnt really hurt they may cut your mouth a lil and the only time they hurt is when. You get spacers first then your braces. The appointment was probably for the spacers. They can't put braces on your teeth with spacers at the same time. You'll have the spacers for a few weeks then your mom will make an appointment to get your braces on, at least this is what happened when I first got my braces.
