Spain and Britain are now rowing over Gibraltar over who it belongs too obviously its British territory but will Spain try and do what Argentina did and try claiming it back or no?
And who do you think will win the political battle and a militaryy battle?

The spanish are brainwashed and although they need an ID card to cross the FRONTIER to come into Gibraltar, and although there is a BRITISH flag flying from the rock, they still believe it is theirs. We are now re-living Franco's time.
Gibraltar will ALWAYS be British. NEVER will it be Spanish.
I can't see a military conflict, but I can see the Royal Navy being used if Spanish fishermen try to blockade Gibraltar.
Britain have stated that Gibraltar is British and as long as the people wish to remain British, it will stay British.
No they won't, because Spain is a civilised country. Britain wields more political power than Spain and the present ruling party in the UK is willing to stand up for Gibraltar.
"Spain and Britain are now rowing over Gibraltar" : did I read NOW ?!? when this has actually been going on since the 18th century ? You should beef up your history knowledge..
And no, there will be no military battle..
It will eventually try, when all political discussions fail. And I´m afraid to say (I am Spanish) that probably spain will lose the war because as the agressor, the EU would side with Great Britain.. and that would be that.
They always make grumbly noises about it, especially when they are having political problems. I think if they kicked it off and invaded the rock they would take it in the short term simply because they have far more troops there than we do, but medium to long term they would be in a lot of trouble
according to the cia world factbook...
SPAIN
GDP $1.434 trillion (ppp)
Military expenditures:
1.2% of GDP (2005 est.)
country comparison to the world: 116
UK
GDP $2.375 trillion (ppp)
Military expenditures:
2.5% of GDP (2012)
country comparison to the world: 57
but those figures are deceptive, while 57th in terms of gdp expenditure, the uk is 4th in terms of total military expenditure, and spain is 19th (2012 estimate 0.8%)
total cash expenditures according to the list on wikipedia are
UK $61,007,000,000
SPAIN $11,535,000,000

now obviously money isn't everything, but it is certainly a lot of the equation
A military battle???
Are you crazy?
Newsflash both the UK and spain are EU and nato members.
