OK, so you could begin your trip from the Balearic Islands, where you can find beautiful beaches and relax and peace, or if you want you coud go party in Ibiza (one of the islands). The balearic cuisine is very good and you'd have to try Ensaïmades. After the Balearic Islands you go to Barcelona (visiting La sagrada Familia, La ciutat Vella, La plaza Cataluña, El Parque Güell, ALL THE ANTONI GAUDÍ ART WORK!) then you could go to Zaragoza (visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, La Seo Cathedral, the projects of the EXPO 2008...).
After that you could go to San Sebastián and see La Concha's bay, Gipuzkoa Square, City hall of San Sebastián, San Ignacio de Loiola Church, the amazing Peine de los vientos sculptures of Eduardo Chillida at the base of the Igueldo mountain... One there you cold go to Bilbao and visit the The Guggenheim Museum, which is great. To take adventage of being in the north of Spain, you coud go to Santiago de Compostela, and go see the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral! All this would take you 12 days.
Then you'd go to Madrid, and spend 3 days there. (search Madrid in google! too much stuff to do! haha) Then you would go to Toledo, which is beautiful with all those Romans monuments. If you went there, you would buy a sword, they are famous for that. After Toledo, you would go to Granada and see the Alhambra, the most visited monument of Spain, the Granada Cathedral as seen from Bib-Rambla Square and Catholic Kings Street (Calle Reyes Católicos). Granada is great to go to "Tapas" (the name of a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine) Then you would go to Costa del Sol, and go to the beaches!! they are awesome! This would take 3 or 4 days.
Finally, you would go to canary islands and visit Mount Teide (Tenerife), the symbol of the islands, The Church of San Juan Bautista and, of course, the beaches.
Living in Spain and having travelled to those places I could tell you lots. However, you can find it on Google and as you are learning a subject at school, the best way is to research it.
My teacher never expected much from me when he asked us to find out the capital cities around the world. He got a shock after I researched it, not on the internet, but through books and found out almost all of them.
Look into
www.(city name).es and you will really fnd a lot, more than you most probably will use.
For the Balearic Islands look into the pages of Palma de Mallorca, Mahon, Ibiza.
Besides, all of the towns mentiones are too much for 3 weeks in my opinion.
Enjoy your homework!
The purpose of this assignment is for YOU to look up the places where you will go and see. If WE give it to you, we will be doing you a disservice.
You need to search these places. You know, it's not that difficult. In my day we had to spend hours in the library, and go to the main branch sometimes, to find information like that. All you have to do is put the name of the city into the computer, and it all comes up for you.
Are you REALLY incapable of doing that for yourself?
And, I have news for you, you can't do all that in three weeks.
I won't do it for you, but I'll point you to a website!!

It's a really great site, it will be quite helpful.
