In my school, 8th grade spanish meant you could take Spanish 2.5. You aren't going to need to take Spanish 1 because that is for people with little to no spanish abilities.
As for math, I'm not sure. Freshman year at my school people usually take geometry and then algebra 2 sophomore year. It could be different where you are.
Yes, you can take two languages. I am currently taking spanish and latin.
If you take spanish 1 for a whole year, and PASS both semesters, you will receive 2 credits just in spanish 1. If you then take spanish 2 next year, and PASS, you will have 2 credits at the end of the year. same with all your other classes. If you pass the 1 semester, you get 1 credit. I have 7 classes per day. If I pass every class all year, at the end I will have 14 credits. 7 for the 1 semester and another 7 for the 2 semester. The 7 comes from the classes I have. I take 7 classes which i get a grade on, and then lunch.
exactly if u take spanish 1 in 8th grade then u take spanish 2 in hih school and u only need 1 and 2 and same for algebra but geometry comes between the 2 algebras
Ok i dont know if the spanish will count as a credit or not. With the algebra 1, i was in that in 8th grade(i was in honors And everyone else was taking pre algebra) and my counselor said that it counted towards a year of math in high school. But in my high school, it sequence is always alg 1 - geometry - alg 2 - pre calculus - ap calculus or ap statistics. So idk if thats how yours is. And at my school you can take as many languages in one year as you have room for. I personally have only taken spanish(:
