Just bought it tryin to fit everything still radio sounds like crap a couple of the speakers are blown including the factory subwoofer. Ive been looking for about a week and I can't find the speaker sizes anywhere online. I need the sizes for all the speakers in both front and rear doors. I'm just doing to disconnect the factory subwoofer since I'm adding my kicker L7 if anyone knows how to disconnect it would be great I couldn't get to it and I don't know where the factory amp is located. Also my truck doesn't have the Bose system but does have the factory subwoofer and on star if it matters
Update:All that has been taken care of I just need to replace the factory speakers and disconnect the factory subwoofer. I installed my 7in flipup amp and subs using the proper adapters to keep my turn sign sounds onstar etc..

I say do not mix the aftermarket with the existing radio
The oem set up usually also manage the on star and the turn signal tick noise via the left front speaker
there is lots variation in the oem option and only experience GM technician would be able to sort it out
you can Move the existing radio under a seat with minimum power and communication line
Install your own system in separate circuit your own
