I want to have spider bites but I'm not sure when.
My question is, how long will it take to heal? I go to a school that doesn't allow earrings and other piercings for students. So if I ever decide to get them, can they use tiny studs that can be hidden?
this is me btw. Just idk, there are pictures of me here.. http://sarah.isinlikewithyou.com/
(and this is the spider bites for those who don't know.. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2526/3728442844_e9e...
Yeah I have braces, and Imma have them removed soon, but I want to know what you guys think if it would look good on me or not.
Other information such as the pain thingy is welcome, because this is going to be my first piercing since the ones I got when I was a baby.

I have spiderbites (: I first had just one pierced, then I had snakebites but I took one out and had another on my right side to have spiderbites. Lip piercings heal at around 8-9 weeks. When they are healed, you can buy a clear plastic retainer, which is virtually invisible but keeps the piercing from closing over. Also, if you take the jewellery out, chances are that they'll close in a couple hours, as they're the fastest healing piercings on the body, I think. The pain is really low, for me, although you might be different. I've had quite a few piercings so....but the lip was my least painful facial piercing. That or my eyebrow.
I duno if spider bites would look the best on you, but what you should do is just get one piercing done first - that'd look fine - and if you still want to go on with it, get the other one done later on. Lip piercings dont take long at all to heal, but you should wait at least a month before changing them. I only have my lip pierced in the middle, and it didnt hurt at all, but friends of mine who have a piercing at the side say it hurt a bit. So that's all i got pain wise. But either way, stalk up on advil, it's a life saver.
Also, you might want to wait untill you have your braces off, cause studs i can imagine would get stuck or rub against them a lot, which would make the piercing take longer to heal.
The studs can be hidden, because you can get skin coloured studs, but rings cant really be hidden.
Best of luck
most piercings feel the same when they are getting done
a painful pinch then they feel warm and sore for a while
it does take a while for spider bites to heal, and sure you get to choose your jewelry, but they will still be noticeable. i would either wait till your out of school or cover them up with band aids. they do have clear jewelry but you cant put them in till the holes heal
before everything i'm bowled over via your call, you have not at all skilled suicide on your loved ones have you ever? nicely it isnt a shaggy dog tale, my brother committed suicide 3 years in the past so as a substitute of questioning that call is cool, it fairly is fairly useful to re-examine it, its an extremely intense difficulty. * Off soapbox.... I extremely have a physique piercing, and that i admire tattooes yet i individually discover that form of piercing on a woman to be kinda trashy looking. attempt in simple terms doing one and notice the type you like it then in case you desire the different decide for it... it is your physique.
