my 11 week old son is spiting up but it is projectile and a good 2 oz at a time. his dr said he is fine but I don't think so should i get another opinion?
Run from that dr as fast as you can. I am hearing more and more everyday from moms all over that these stupid dr's are just pushing then aside instead of trying to help. That is reflux (gerd). And the dr should have looked into it further. I would def get another opinion. Is he breast or formula fed? Email me if you have any questions I have a severe reflux baby....
since they're so tiny, it may be the formula or breast milk. theres not much else going into their little systems. soy based formula is the most gentle & easiest to digest, & its just as good for them. I would say start with that. My kids both had to switch, despite what doctors say, your the mother & go with your instincts. On matters like this, if you feel something is wrong... there might be.
You could get another opinion if it would make you feel any better. Some ideas might be tho if your feeding him formula to try switching his formula. It might be to hard on his stomach. or he might have acid reflux. but you should bring the ideas up to your doc before you do anything about them or look up some info to prove it to your doc.
trying askin your babys pediatrian for acid relex medicine because my 5 week old daughter does that and her doctor prescribed her acid refelx medicine to help her not spit up pr vomit
IT COULD B THE MILK. AND IT CAN BE THAT YOU ARE NOT TAKING OUT THE GASES RIGHT. YOU HAVE TO DIVIDE THE OZ INTO TWO DEPENDING HOW MUCH HE DRINKS.. IN BETWEEN TAKE OUT HIS GASES
