I do remember reading online an article about a woman who spread a powdery substance into the water of Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland. Was it ever confirmed whether or not the substance was"human remains"? I realize this is old news but I am just curious.
What about the woman who supposedly spread ashes inside the Haunted Mansion?
What does Disney do when they believe someone has spread ashes in the ride?
This came up in a conversation today so I am just curious and want more information.:P

Shockingly, people do this ALL THE TIME. Disney tries to prevent it, and won't give anyone permission to do it, but they can't stop people from sneakily doing it. Because the negative publicity on this would be huge if Disney raised a ruckus about it, they generally keep it quiet.

I go there as often as possible, and I know practically everything about the Park. I'd try to force myself into the Fire Station Apartment first. I wouldn't be scared or upset with being alone or anything, but I'd definitely have adrenaline rushes every five minutes, that's for sure. I wouldn't get on any rides, though, because someone has to control the brakes for all of the "good rides" like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, and such. I think I'd savor the moment of being locked in the park, and just go through all of the maintenance areas--like, I'd go through all of the tracks the maintenance workers use to fix the rides and stuff. Even it's a small world would be scary to go on, considering all of the dolls. I think, overall, I'd enjoy my time being in the Park alone, and I'd just take all of the maintenance worker routes on the rides. Just not Winnie the Pooh, it's a small world, and Splash Mountain.
A women supposedly spread her son's ashes in the Pirate's of the Carribean water and it's now haunted. I actually believe this because I have friends who work the ride and have said that after they close they hear things and hear random splashes of water and noises and obviously nobody is on the ride. I don't think it's at Haunted Mansion, just Pirate's. Disneyland will probably stop the ride if they see someone throwing anything off the boat, tram, car etc. and promptly escort said person out of the park.
What does Disney do?
1. Detain the suspected dumpers and try to confirm what was dumped. Expel them from the park. Possibly press civil or criminal charges. Bill them for the cleanup.
2. Simultaneous with Step 1: Close the attraction.
3. Call the HazMat team. Determine if the material dumped poses a immediate threat, ie explosives, or is a potentially toxic threat like human remains.
4. Vacuum the remains in a big old cannister vac.
5. Dispose of the hazardous material in an appropriate fashion, ie. incinerate or in a toxic dump.
What a lovely thought: your loved ones spending eternity in a toxic waste dump.
It's really interesting
Sounds like a hoax to me.
These people should be executed in the name of good taste. Only in America could something so sick and disgusting be allowed. I blame Obama.
