hii im currently taking Gr.8 regular class and i wanted to go to St-George school in Vancouver because they offer a better education there. I have the money to go there until Gr.12 so money is not the problem. My problem is that in elementary school, i got suspended a few times because of some problems with the teacher and the computers, but nothing too major like killing, or vandalism. I get okay grades, i think about the GPA of 3.3- 3.5 in my first report card. And iam studying the SSAT test right now ( cracking the SSAT/ISEE 2010 edition by The Princeton Reviews ). I would like to know will that school accept my admission because i got suspended a few times in elementary school? Well, im changing now, and i didn't get into any single trouble with the teachers or the principals in high school. Im planning to register next November (2010). If i don't get into trouble in high school and i get better grades like Gpa of 3.6 or so, will they accept me? What are the students in St.George school getting in Grades like before they go there and what are their average scores for the SSAT.
teachers or people, can you help me out because im like down and not willing to do the SSAT book because it's like 700 pages long for nothing.
Thanks and please give me a reply

I used to live in Vancouver BC and I did attend a public school there. I heard of St.George is the brother of Crofton School.
In all honest opinion, I do not think St.George will accept you.
If you want to go to a prestigious undergrad when you graduate, colleges do not look at what type of high school you go to, they really do not.
St.George's education is run by the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization), but St.George is not the only one. If you care about education rigor that much then try Churchill Secondary
Sir Winston Churchill Secondary which is also in Vancouver B.C. has an optional education program which is also run by the IBO and it is not a private school.
I was a pre-IB student, but I did not do my IB in Vancouver, I did AP as a senior and had a talk with the IB Coordinator of Churchill to decide on IB or AP and he tells me that every year (now I forgot the exact number, but i know for sure it is greater than 10) at least 10 students with the IB Diploma go to an Ivy League school (Harvard, Yale, Cornell....)
In conclusion, the only difference between St.George and a public IB school is the amount of money they have because the education system is the same, they are both run by the IBO
