I agree. Heinlein was very far ahead. Check out "Space Cadet" One of the charachers is using the forerunner of a cell phone in a book written in the forties! Roddenberry may have had something to do with the design of the "clamshell" type phone but Heinlein was it's daddy.
Both were probably created for so many cents a word. But to be fair, you would need to research Heinlein and Bradbury - great writers, both. And both seemed to go beyond dollars and sense if you know what I mean - Bob H. really believed in much of the stuff he wrote as being relevant to our present day and political situations.
