I've been having stomach pains for probably the past year or so. I went to see a doctor twice, but they say nothing is wrong. It's not severe pain, just kind of enough for me to know it's there. Could it be from digestion?

Are you lactose intolerant? If you dont think that you are, you might be. I had the same problem and i recently discovered that my pains were due to dairy. Sometimes lactose intolerance doesn't begin until your in your teens and beyond. This is due to the fact that human adults were not originally made so that they can drink milk, it was only for baby's who were too young to eat, but as humans evolved they began using milk from cows and adapted, but many people today still cant quite tolerate dairy.
Hey hun, I'm assuming they've done a colonoscopy and endoscopy right? What tests have they run? I kept hearing "It's just IBS" or "Well it's just stress" for two years until they did a HIDA scan and found out my gallbladder wasn't functioning.
If you're having pain often, somethings wrong. Ask for an allergy test or get a new GI doctor. I had to. It took me 2 years to get a second opinion and 2 weeks later I was in the OR, and now I'm better. Also, if it's lower abdominal pain, consider seeing an GYN to rule out any issues in that dept
Good luck hun!
