Studio or 1b/r apartment?
We are a long time looking for a studio or 1 b/r apartment in Dubai Al Nahda/Al Qusias or International City. As we know the rents are flying high. 1 year ago you could get a studio in Intern. City for 45k. Now at least 60k!! But a lot of "real estate" people asking absurd commision till 10k and 1 cheque + deposit!! Who can pay that without putting themselves in deep debth? Who can help us (executive hardworking couple) and guide us? Who knows a TRUSTWORTHY property owner or official real estate brooker LLC? No amateurs or part-timers!!

Better Homes and Asteco are both reputable agencies, but not exactly known for being "cheap" or having cheap places listed. You get what you pay for (especially in the UAE) and generally the cheaper agencies are the ones most likely to try and scam you with absurd commisions and/or terms.
Sorry Hans, can't help you with this one. Never had to look for any apartment or villa. Do not have any experience with any real estate company. Just always hear how greedy they are.
