My answer is 5x-7x-11 im sure its wrong
7x^3 - 2x^2 - x -11
start with the biggest exponent, which is x^3, there is nothing to subtract 7x^3 with, so you start your answer with that.
Same with the next biggest exponent (x^2) there's nothing to subtract it with so you just bring it down to your answer. Since there is no sign in front of 2x^2, it is automatically a positive/plus 2.
Now you subtract the x's, which -3x - -4x= 1x or just x, and it would be a positive x, negative would have been correct if it was -4x - -3x
Now subtracting the numbers with no exponents, 5 - -6= -11.
