Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me on this question. Okay first, how much would a program like this cost and where could I find a program like this; I'm a freshman in high school, and I know I probably won't be able to go to one until I finish high school right? And I was planning on going to Spain, how much will that cost me? How much time there will I need to spend for it to have an effect on me, and how much of an effect will it have? When should I start saving up? OH ! and most importantly, when I finish high school, say I have like 3 or 4 years of Spanish, to further learn Spanish should I take some of my college classes in Spanish, would that help? (My Spanish teacher is white and she did that) So if you could please help me, (I really want to learn this language fully), that would be nice, thanks in advance !

Spain is huge big time fun....I get there quite a bit from the UK.
The return flight over the big pond will be $1000 -$1500 depending where you're starting from if you book a few months in advance.
Madrid is one of the cheapest destinations to fly to in Europe.
Accommodation is around $50 a day in Spain cheapest rate for a budget hotel, cheaper in a backpacker hostel and food will cost $70 a week cooking your own and allow $120 a week at least if you eat out a bit most days as well as self-cooking..
Europe isn't cheap.
The language courses will cost around $400 a week upwards but there are free social clubs too where people meet just to improve their Spanish or English....sort of bridge clubs making bridges between different people.
You do your bit with the English and they do theirs with the Spanish.
Look around when you get there to find one....most cities have them.
Loads of language schools are available. The quality varies so do a load of research but time is on your side at the moment so no panic there.
How to travel is on here..My answer is all numbered with what you need to get done , but based on staying in backpacker hostels.
All of it is still of use to you though for any travel outside of your own country..

Malaga on the south coast is a popular place to learn Spanish but it's in Andalucia and you get Andalucian Spanish there. II's still one of the most popular choices though. You might get a Castillian teaching the class or a local guy.
You can have a very good time in Malaga.
Loads of sights around, massive Ronda gorge inland a bit, Cordoba and Granada (look them up for why people go there), all by bus, and you can get to Seville and Valencia easily too with a direct route to Seville or all round the coast which takes a lot longer.
More on these about all that......
