I have a 2006 Lawnboy mower with a 3.5HP techemseh engine. It is leaking gas around the fuel bowl area. I have re-built it twice in the past month. Right after i rebuilt the carberator i mowed my whole lawn with it. Worked perfect. And then the next day it hunts real bad, leaks gas around the bowl, and will die if you keep the drive engaged for too long. I have rebuilt it twice like i said and it still does the same thing, whats wrong?

What's wrong is that someone who can't even figure out a gas leak is working on the engine. It's probably overflowing the float bowl because of a bad rebuild.
Sounds like the needle valve and float are not working right. This is normally due to the rocker spring that connect the valve to the float.
