The end of everything? If you haven't heard about this date and the conspiracy....you need to research it and share your views on this..please and thank you. Nothing obscene and rude.
December 21, 2012 represents the Mayan end of the Calendar. Going further with this idea, on the winter solstice of 2012, the sun (our sun) will line up with the center of the Milky Way galaxy perfectly, and interestingly enough, the Earth will complete it's spin on it's axis. (If any of know, the earth does not spin perfectly on it's axis, however it wobbles, as it is not a perfect sphere.) Something that only happens once every 27,000 years. The thing people don't understand was that Mayans were intensely astrological and astronomical beings. Everything they learned, from the Gods, to the coming harvest, was based of what they could divine from the Heavens.
Coinciding with this approximate time period, in Greek mythology, Man will be moving into the Age of Aquarius, or the Age of Knowledge. A rebirth of sorts, in which there will be a great enlightenment during this time, and Man will begin a new.
Christians believe in Armageddon, however, when most Christians tell you Armageddon is the "end of the world" they are wrong. It is nothing more then a rebirth, again as stated before, in which Man will enter a state of enlightenment, a learned peace.
December 21, 2012 is going to be the same exact thing as January 1, 2000. "Y2K!! Everyone, the world is going to end! Y2K!!!" My question is this. What time zone does God decide to end the world in? Is he going to wait until it's noon of the given day in California and then say, "Well, they had a good run, time to die!" What December 21, 2012 is in New York, is already December 22, 2012 in Japan. I think it's a lot of hogwash and really isn't anything to be bothered about.
