Don't worry. It is not at all unusual for the black areas on tiger barbs to reflect metallic green coloring depending on the angle the light hits them. In fact, there is a variety of tiger barb called the "green tiger barb" which is almost covered in green-reflecting black. It's not a disease, so it cannot be spread to any of the other fish in your aquarium.
Tiger barb's black stripes do reflect green. There's some variations, or hybrids of tiger barbs that are entirely green-reflecting black. with a red tail.
Hiya
It`s just a feature on gold tiger barbs (Both puntius anchisporus and puntius tetrazona). No need to be worried, just when the light hits the lines at a certain angle!
thats how they look silly, you shouldnt be concerned for your other fish...unless they are a different type of fish.... cuz tiger barbs are mean lil fish!!
