I was planning on going to UC Berkeley in the future, just graduated high school and I am attending a community college to get my lower division major req's/G.E. done for UC Berkeley. If I keep my grades up, what are the chances of getting into Berkeley as a transfer (Transferring at junior level from Community college). My major is computer science/engineering. As for now my GPA average for all the courses I have taken at my college is at 3.2. Of course I am building my GPA, seeing there are still 2 years to go here, meaning more courses to take, to raise this GPA up. So any thoughts?
Update:Edit: I live in Cali, has more admit rates, and Berkeley's average GPA at the moment is 3.60-3.95 overall for their students.

It is going to be almost impossible for you to transfer to Berkeley unless you are a highly outstanding student. Anything below a 3.75 in diffiult subjects will not get you in.
so a techniques as i be conscious of UC Berkley DOES settle for community college credit, maximum UC'/CSU do and rather in many situations that's a assure as long as you bypass the standards and have a good GPA. maximum of my friends have finished the community college course then transferred to UC Berkley through fact it became extra value-effective to do it that way and extra handy to get, and it shows what you have achieved. maximum counseling departments at CA community colleges should assist you too in getting precisely what you like so as to bypass tot he college in California of your selection. so a techniques as out of state universities, i'm uncertain. additionally, it would be so lots extra exciting to stay in Berkley than Merced.
