Underage bachelorette party ideas?
So, my very good (and under 21) friend has decided to run off and elope next weekend. Being as this is short notice, we don't really have the funds to do anything extravagent.
I am not sure if the boys are doing something for her future husband, and if not I am needing some ideas of some cheap things to do for them to celebrate their upcoming wedding.
Update:To clear the confusion...the bride to be is 20. And, I am 27. The reason I am on low funds is because I have chosen to take care of my bills, therefore allowing less money for social activities on such short notice. :)

I believe that by "under-age" this asker means that the bride is too young for an alcohol-based party, not that she is a child, Blunt. Many people marry at a young age (below legal drinking age) such as my parents who will celebrate 35 years together this June and were unable to drink at their own wedding. As for not having any cash, I would like to think that it is because this is on such short notice. Elopements are a nice alternative for those without alot of money, those who may have just heard of a coming deployment, or for those who don't care for all the hub-bub of a traditional wedding, not merely because parents don't approve. In fact, many parents are present when their children elope. This young lady is just trying to celebrate with her friend, not making something good out of a bad situation. Try to remember that different people mature at different ages and that marrying young may be right for these two people. Good luck to your friend, Jess. A pamper-the-bride night might work best for you and everyone involved can pitch in.
When people elope, they give up their right to things like bachelorette parties. But if you really want to do something for her, just invite her over for a fun girl's night.
I can't believe how young some people are getting married now.
i would opt for something very simple. maybe appetizers and drinks at someone's house or if the group is really small then go to a restaurant. fun things that the girls can do together include: mani/pedis and lunch. lunch is always cheaper than dinner.
since they are eloping, i think you should actually celebrate after the ceremony.
a fun and cheap game we played at a friend of mine's party was pin the cucumber on the guy, gifts are always nice, go to a store were they have things for that sort of thing and just look around. For even cheaper, just take her out on the town to her favorite places (dinner, dancing, etc.)
Party at your place. Get or make some food and snacks, invite over a bunch of friends and just have a good time. It doesn't have to be the traditional Bachlorette/Bachlor party. Have a BBQ or just snack on appetizers. Try an all girls poker party or a slumber party no boys. Or you can host a candle party, spa party, or pleasure party in your friends honor (all the free merchandise goes to her.) I'm sure your friend will appreciate anything you do for her.
If her friends are underage then she is too young to get married. Save some money and have an all nighter and talk her out of the marriage. it will end in divorce. stats dont lie!!

Underage marriage is no reason to celebrate, specially since they are eloping probally because their folks opose.
If they cannot do things the right way, then no one should throw them a party to celebrate such horrible mistake.
I know that you mean well, but don't waste your money. It's their choice to run away and you should not try to make something good or traditional out of a child's mistake
Besides, you have NO cash , which supports my argument that marriage is for GROWN-UPS!
