unknown spider in house?
i live in illinois, and the spider had red legs and a clearish body.....
there is construction going on in my house which involves the ground being torn up...
so it couldve came from under the house
but do u know what type it is... better yet is it harmful?
Update:we did kill it.

It could be a sow bug Spider, It's not very poisounous, just has a painful bite. It's ugly though.
Ok all of you people aggravate me. If you do not know what it is, leave it alone. Brown Recluse spiders are, as their name suggests, RECLUSIVE. They do not come out to bite you on purpose. there is no point in killing a spider over nothing. What don't people like about spiders? My dog scares me more than spiders do and I have a Dachshund. I'm tired of the ignorance. Here's a good idea. Leave it into the hands of experts. Is it fast, or slow and cumbersome? If it's fast it might be a brown recluse. The clear body sounds kinda suspect. The legs are darker and could be a weird shade of red in some populations.

Check out this photo of a brown recluse. Then google it for more images to compare different individual spiders and see if yours compares.
Get some malicious program spray that works on spiders or lay spider traps they in many circumstances sell them at wal-mart. They placed something that spiders extremely relish licking yet has poison in it so as that they finally die and in many circumstances carry the poison lower back to the "nest" in the event that they even have one. If no longer call an exterminater. good success in the event that they're as great as a nickel they're in many circumstances risky in my opinion
Youd be better off killing it, if youre not sure what type it is.
Better to be safe then sorry, also be careful cause there could be a nest of them that are under your house.
Any spider with any red color on its body is a venomous spider. My advice ... kill it.
Maybe it is a new generation by spider! Be carefull ok...

well you should have not killed it causeits not deadly the most that could happen was you getting a bite mark thats it
