Since Tuesday my tracking is just "departure scan" and it has no time next to it. Is it lost or should I just wait? If it helps I live in Hawaii and the departure scan was from California so it should be here by now.

You would think it was on its way to Hawaii. You could call 1-800-ASK-USPS.
When my UPS tracking indicates that it means it left that facility near the San Francisco Bay area and is probably in a freighter steaming it's way 2300+ miles across the Pacific. I think the 757's are used for next day packages. You know everything to HI takes more time.
I'm packing for the Big Island/Kona this evening. Can't wait to get there Tuesday.
The equipment has a bar code on the transport label. They use this to song the equipment. while they load it on a truck to go away the city they test the bar code and it look as "Departure test" on the laptop. USPS isn't constantly authentic sturdy approximately scaning the programs at each step of ways. it might say in transit good up until you recieve it and it might desire to no longer coach as further until here day.
