currently my family is on the 500min shareplan for $50 for the primary line.. now i want to get another line, so will i have to upgrade to 700 mins, or can i keep my current plan? Its usually 9.99 to add a line, though the plan is expired and i don't know what the policy is on adding new lines to an expired plan, so you need to contact Verizon for that. Each phone has a different contract, therefore eligibility for upgrade can vary. You will definitely get a discount for adding the new line though.
