I have always had muscle pain and tightness in my middle-upper back. However, recently [[over the past couple months]] I have been experiencing a different kind of pain...
Two of my vertebrae in my middle back [[just about above wear my bra strap would be]], I have a sharp soreness only on the left sides. To explain, if you were to take your thumb and apply moderate pressure sideways against your spine, that is exactly where it hurts - only on just these two bones though.
I'm not overweight and I don't have a large chest to contribute to back problems. I am not overly or under active.
I'm wondering if I have an inflamed disc or out of place vertebrae? I don't think I broke anything... it doesn't hurt *that* bad. Anyone have a logical explanation for this or an otherwise educated answer?
I know I need to see a doctor for this to get the real answer and hopefully fix it... but I'm waiting on getting health insurance, so I'm just looking for a good educated guess in the meantime to satisfy my wondering.
Thanks health experts!

A lot of people carry their stress in their musculoskeletal system. Lots of stretching and exercise can help. Sometimes a trip to a chiropractor can also be beneficial.
Wear your backpack properly, if you use one.
Get the bra perfectly fitted for you by an expert to manage your posture.
I don't think you have an inflamed disc, it could be a little worse - a cervical subluxation. That is what you are feeling.
Absolutely see a doctor!
I think this a herniated disc. You need to see an orthopedic. You can put a heating pad for 15 minutes, you could also have pulled muscle. See a doctor asa you get your insurace.
I would go to the emergency room. It could be a bladder infection or something worse. Dont wait. I have been having pains in my lower right abdomen and i have a cyst on my right ovary that is bleeding. The pain is unbearable. Just go get checked out. k
Sounds like a herniated disk. You'll need to see a doctor
