Hey guys and gals I am looking for some very durable but cheap cymbals I play punk rock, punk, rock etc. I hit my drums/cymbals almost as hard as Travis Barker (He is not my favourite drummer but I do almost hit my drums/cymbals as hard as him) and I am on a budget I have been playing a good year and a half, so I want some intermediate/med level cymbals. What brands, series do you suggest?

Two suggestions:
1. Work at playing smarter, not harder. Your cymbals will last longer, sound better, and you will save a lot of money by avoiding frequent replacements. 'Hard-hitting' and 'on a budget' do NOT mix!
2. Look into buying used (but undamaged) cymbals. Try craigslist and your local drum shop. When you buy quality brand cymbals used, they sound as good and are much cheaper.
Any of the usual brands are excellent. Zildjian, Sabian, Paiste, Wuhan. But do not skip over others if you find a good deal. Whenever possible, listen to the cymbals personally before hand. As for a particular series, everybody seems to love the Zildjian A Customs. The Sabian AAX are also much-loved.
