i have been having these very painful headaches for a couple years now. i have diagnosed with migraines, but my meds have not help ont bit. i have asked my doc to give me a tronger dose but she wont. my headaches are only localized to one side of my head, with eye pain and ear pain. they always feel like someones stabbing me in my head and twisting the knife. i would like to know if thses headaches could be more then just a migraine?...please help!!

could be an allergy, most common to cause headache are dairy products. stop all dairy for a week and see if that helps. also, check to see if anything you eat or drink has aspartame. some people are really sensitive to artificial sweeteners. they may be the cause. if thes things do not help, ask your mom to take you to a neurologist.(this is the medical specialty which knows most about headaches)
