obviously I know a doctor is my best option... so please dont just put 'see a doctor'. I would like to know possible causes. I am uninsured, and still paying off a medical bill from months ago. If it gets worse I will see a doctor. I know none of you are doctors, but base your answer on your own personal experiences.
This morning (2am) I threw up bright red blood mixed with bile a few times. I had a slight pain at my navel, and a pulsating pain about 4 inches up from that. After puking I got a sore throat.
Now I have a more intense pain right above my navel. it's kind of gnawing like. I havent thrown up any more blood, but I've been holding back a puke for the last 30 minutes. The sore throat is much worse. I'm thinking it may be unrelated and I might also be coming down with a cold. I also have lost 20 lbs in a month. I dont know if it's related though.
Any idea on what it might be? I was thinking an ulcer... but i dont know.

Could be an ulcer but I once had blood when I coughed or vomited and it turned out to be pneumonia. A free way to get trusted medical advice is from a pharmacist, just go up to any pharMacy counter and explain your symptoms. They can't give u a diagnosis per say but they can tell u if it's urgent or not and suggest meds that might help.
You better go get seen or your next trip could be the morgue
seriously it sounds like your symptoms really need checked out by a Dr to be alive with a medical bill is better then to be dead with a funeral bill.
