Whenever I use warcraft in school using the school's wireless internet, I can't play on lan as my friends don't see the room, the school firewall blocks internet connections from programs, warcraft cs, etc. But that just means I can't connect to bnet, Lan in cs works for me but why not warcraft? any help? or any programs that can help?

If you bought the school laptop, they probably partitioned it, go to the Home partition or whichever one it is, then connect to the school internet, also make sure your version of warcraft is the same, you should just copy+paste your entire warcraft III folder to your friends' computers.
It would appear they have found what port(s) some of the games used and blocked them. Most schools now are trying hard to stop users from using bandwidth for games and social sites.
