I used to be a national level swimmer, with a fit and extremely well toned body. After an accident in which I broke both my legs on my way to a swim meet, i gained weight. I passed from 70kg of pure muscle to 102 kg 25kg of which is fat. after healing my legs, I did water polo and lost some weight, but I injured my hand and had to stop. I am planning to restart soon but until then, here is my question.
I am now 17 and weigh 220 lbs(100kg). I checked online for my ideal weight for my body type and saw it was about 60-75kg(120-160lbs). I have a belly that is fairly big and fat in other areas of the body,(arms, legs and chest). I would like to lose this weight, but I have one question that is bothering me. As I have a belly, i have stretch marks around the navel area. If I lose 60lbs(30kg) will I have sagging skin on my belly? if so, how can I avoid it?
I would also like some tips on losing weight/ I would really appreciate any help.
If it helps, the fat in my body is not so much as to disfigure me completely. I have a big belly and fat on legs and arms, with some fat on the chest, but if I flex or stand up straight I can see the outline of my former body. Still, I am extremely embarassed to go out to the pool like this.

Update:not worried about strech marks, but the sagging sking caused by the weight loss after havng strech marks

awwh im so sorry to hear about your accident ):
im currently trying to lose weight also. it depends on what sort of diet/exercise combo you want to do. sounds like you wouldnt mind doing exercise, me however.. i hate it xD im currently doing the fruit fasting diet and its working for me but you have to be very strict. but if you want to go a healthier and more active way, doing cardio would make you lose weight, just keep your heart pumping, dance when no ones looking, go jogging, take the stairs instead of a lift or escalators. as for eating.. just cut out the junk food and chocolate and stuff. try keeping your red meat intake low and start eating white meat like fish and chicken. steam/bake/roast/poach instead of frying foods. try not to eat carbs (bread, pasta, potatoes, etc) after 4pm and if you have to, have a little and try and change to brown rice/pasta/bread. and try not to eat after 6pm. if you do, have something light like fruit or some veg. try eating raw fruit and veg as cooked lose all their vitality. do not starve yourself.. only eat when youre hungry, when youre full stop eating. if you feel hungry, just eat. eat as much as you want but make sure its healthy foods. if you want to tone and lose weight, do a mixture of cardio and toning exercises. pick up a dvd online. use creams and oils such as bio oil, cocoa butter for your stertch marks, they wont get rid of them completely but it will help
basically:
-eat as much as you want as long as its healthy
-try and add more exercise into your every day life
-dont eat carbs after 4pm
-dont eat heavy foods after 6pm
-do exercise that keeps your heart pumping (dont forget to warm up and stretch afterwards!)
-eat your fruit/veg raw if you can
-cut down on red meat
-cut out junk/fried/fatty food
-mix up your exercise (cardio and toning)
and last but not least, treat yourself every now and again :)

Yes you will have stretch marks im sorry but you can help it by using coca butter on it every day staring now and do it as you get back in shape ..i can relate i did the same thing when i messed up my knee im a runner ..i did gain alot of weight but i ran it back off but stretch marks dont really bother me ..
go 20 mph on your bike for 6 1 2 minutes
don t eat standing up
opt for self checkout wait in line for 7 minutes ring yourself up for another 10 bag your own grub and load up the car
run 5 percent of a marathon at a 10 minute mile pace
always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge
alternate between cat pose cow pose and downward dog 13 times holding each for 30 seconds
Walk at least 15 mins after your meals
let a great dane walk you for 13 minutes 5 mph
