i downloaded a movie in .AVI and one a few weeks ago in .MP4. both have great video quality, but the sound is a bunch of sped-up "chipmunk" voices that have nothing to do with the video and random popping sounds like you can hear when you see the movie in theaters.

why is it doing this? is the download bad? am i using the wrong players for each video? (DivX 6) am i just dumb?
