I haven't been many places outside the US. And w/in the US I've only seen the states along the atlantic ocean from Cape Cod, MA down to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. The US has some nice cities and Niagara Falls, both US and Canadian sides are nice.
Cozumel, Mexico is by far my favorite though because I am a lover of warm tropical places. The island of Cozumel was beautiful-there are great, very clean beaches, a crazy Jungle, and most of the island doesn't have many people living on it. I rented a car and drove around the island it took about 2 1/2 hours and was well worth it. The side opposite of the toursity side was full of empty beaches, myan ruins, a tequila garden where they show you the plants and let you tour the property. One day we took a jeep tour of the myan ruins and stuff and then stopped half way throught the day and had lunch on the beach that was empty. It was really beautiful.
What about you? you asked the question...but didn't tell us your opinion!
The Hawaiian island of Kauai. Not as much foot traffic as Maui or Oahu and it's very lush because it gets a lot of rain. The cool thing is if you stay near the coastal areas it doesn't rain nearly as much as it does near the middle of the island.
