So long ago! Lets see-from a school cafeteria, spaghetti or vegetable soup. Both made on site; not canned. Fifth grade in Los Angeles. Longer ago than most of you have been alive. But those dishes were sure tasty.
The chicken was the only good thing in the school cafeteria in fourth grade, but by the time the fourth graders had lunch, the younger kids had already taken all the chicken, so we had to settle for cold pizza or nasty-looking corndogs.
The best grilled cheese sandwiches! Ooops.......I mean the chili or the pizza. I forgot the best grilled cheese sandwiches are made by a cute blue smiley! Still waiting...........

I hate school lunch. I skip lunch most the time. The only time I'll eat is if it's home lunch. All school lunches are disgusting.
The school lunches ... were probably not even legal. But I always looked forward to hot dog day! With french fries and string beans, mmm.
