Our school county has tech Ed and advance technologies if you take 2 years of it you don't have to take a foreign language. But now they say after taking the tech classes there is no way to get into college without 2 years of language class. Putting these students behind?? Someone say this wasn't a waste of time ??
What colleges will by pass that??

Depending on where you live there are 2 year community colleges that do not require foreign language studies. Rather you can take those course in college before transferring to a four year college. I myself have done this before. I only had 1 year of foreign language studies in high school and was able to attend community college and was offered the chance to go to a major university without having to do an extra year. Check with the colleges that you are interested in before applying. Chances are you can take the classes there once you get admitted.
Very few schools require that you're taking a language, although such plenty require that you've got taken a couple of years in top university so that you could be admitted. The obstacle is that 2 years of top university language, at least the first-rate means it is taught in this country, isn't ample to speak in any appreciate.
What state are you in? I think all states require you to take 2 years of foreign language unless yours is different. You might be able to get into a for-profit college, but otherwise I think you're in bad straights. You can take some online high-school credit foreign language classes. They might accept that. Otherwise, you're just going to have to wait five years and go non-traditional.
