I'm looking through her book just now and can't find a specific date. It does tell you how the crew were looking for a female tattooer and they wanted her on it and she wasn't sure about it but took the job and they would film all day and then goes onto the tension between her and Ami until she eventually left and had the spin off LA Ink :)

BUT I strongly recommend that you buy her book "High Voltage" It's got her biography and LOADS of information and tattoo's from her. I can guarantee you that it will be very helpful :)
