okay so i see alot of teenage girls with there normal hair and then underneath they have shaved the underneath really short...and im like hmm how long ago did this trend start

I saw that a lot when I was in junior high.. which was from 1990-1993. But before that was the 80s, and during that time there was a lot of experimentation as far as hairstyles. It is not a new trend.
