when did your dr first check if you were dilating?
I am due in 11 days and my Dr didn't check me at my last appointment a few days ago and isn't going to check me till Tuesday when I'll be down to my final week. I'm just wondering if your Dr's waited this long. I thought they started checking in the last 3 weeks.

What exactly are you wanting to know???? When you'll go into labor?
Checking to see if you're dilated isn't going to tell the doctor a whole lot. I was only 1 cm on a Monday with my 1st and then went into spontaneous labor with her that Thursday. With my 2nd I was about 3 cm for a good 4 weeks before I ever went into labor with her.
I think it depends on the doc, but unless you are showing reasons to check they wont. They usually want the baby to stay in as long as possible without going over. Sometimes messing with the cervix can irritate it. Plus my doc said that its an estimated due date it could be a given two weeks on or off of what they estimated.
They are supposed to start at 36 weeks.

They shouldve checked already because i stated dialating at 35 weeks and had my daughter at 37
