I've looked up this exact question already and everyone has said before the 12 week mark, or before a woman even knows shes pregnant. I am aware of this already.
My question is...are there specific weeks once you know your pregnant where most women miscarry (before the 12 week mark)?
I read somewhere that once you get past weeks 5-7 chances drop some, but im not sure on the facts. Is it also true chances drop when you hear the heartbeat?
Im currently 8 weeks 2 days and have conquered some troubles already with bleeding and low progesterone levels. Everything looks good right now, ive heard heartbeat and everything, but still worried sick!
thanks :)

True, most of them happen right after conception and implantation, and people don't even realize it happens.
If statistics are a) accurate and b) actually relevant, the risk factor drops with each passing week for 'random' miscarriage. But keep in mind that the actual causes of miscarriage are still largely unknown, and medical science is dealing with a lot of what-if questions. I'm not a doctor, but even I can see how it's a very hard topic to study.
You can literally damage your health if you continue to dwell on your worries, and you definitely don't want that to happen. Statistics are only used by insurance companies and casinos, so try to relax and not think about it so much. By obsessing over one potential problem, you can leave the door open for a whole bash of other problems.
Worrying is not going to help the situation by any means. Each week you progress in your pregnancy, is less of a chance of you having a miscarriage. It is generally true that after the 3 month mark, you are kinda like in a safe zone.
The first 3 months is when miscarriages happen most. Don't stress out over this your baby is fine, if you keep stressing you will make yourself have a miscarriage.
