I love to read the bible, all of his scriptures are wonderful, but i like 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on God because he cares for you" (New International Version)
24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Romans one million:20 For via fact the creation of the worldwide God’s invisible traits—his everlasting potential and divine nature—have been of course seen, being understood from what has been made, so as that somewhat everyone seems to be devoid of excuse. Merry Christmas! @ upyr1: So hilarious... Your attempt at being "humorous" via announcing John sixteen:3 (instead of John 3:sixteen), has circled and bit you back! and that's humorous, in an exceptionally unhappy way. John sixteen:3 New worldwide version (NIV) 3 they're going to do such issues via fact they have not nicely-known the daddy or me.
I like the part where it says I can have sex with my female slave and only have to worry if they get pregnant and I want to sell them.
I just wish I could stone my rebellious children as the Bible says and I'm tempted to do the same to my wife of 25 years as she was not a virgin when I married her (neither was I, but that is beside the point).
Yes, this does sound insulting, but it is easier to do this than to explain to you how "casting your anxiety on God" is both delusional and a way of both avoiding responsibility for you actions while still trying to make the best of the situation. If it goes bad, God is teaching or trying you and if it goes well, you are blessed.
Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
So many, hard to choose just one, but I will try *smiles*
Revelation 21:4....And He [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.

Luke 24:45-49
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

John 3:6-8
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Romans 8:2-6
because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace

Isaiah 55:10-11
Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven
and do not return there
without saturating the earth
and making it germinate and sprout,
and providing seed to sow
and food to eat,
11 so My word that comes from My mouth
will not return to Me empty,
but it will accomplish what I please
and will prosper in what I send it to do.”
