I use a pencil and I started using it when I was in 7th grade. now I'm a junior. You can try putting it on under your bottom eyelashes and you start from the very outside edge of your eye to the middle part of underneath your eye. (don't do it too dark and make sure it's a thin line so you don't overpower your eye)

Depends on how you want to wear your eyeliner. Liquid looks better but is really hard to use.

I wear Revlon pencil eyeliner. Drug store make up pretty much sucks across the board but is the only source of self advancing pencils. The Revlon stuff is pretty decent - It stays on throughout the day but is easily manipulated.

13 is a bit young but thats about the time I started wearing it. Good luck!

i was like 15, i wear pencil, BUT THERE IS A BETTER ONE OUT THERE its by mac and its a little brush and cream eyeliner in a small jar, its better then liquid and pencil and its the type of makeup that is used on actor and famous people ect.

pencil is easier to apply. and creates a more natural look on the eye.

liquid is more intense and bolder. stays on longer than pencil, too.

its really up to you, both are good.

but i prefer pencil over liquid.

my favorite liners are MAC ones. i believe i own the MAC pencil liner in smolder. i think its pretty popular..but i can see why because it stays on like no other. best liner i have ever used. but i think that was around $16....so if you feel for going for more of a cheaper liner, use almay crayon. that is pretty good too. 13 is ok, as long as you dont apply too much. trust me, that looks horrible.

just wear it on the bottom lid for now.

When you're just starting out using eyeliner, pencil would be the best option to use, it's a lot easier to work with.

I personally use a gel liner (MAC fluidline), i find it stays on better though.

I'm 13 and I wear liquid liner on the top and pencil on the bottom :]

i like pencil in the morning because liquid eyeliner is a little bit messy to look up but definitely evening ..i am using the liquid eyeliner because it is darker..

Oh sweetie 13 is fine. I use liquid eyeliner and it works wonders. It is fo sho take some getting used to but you will be pro in no time. I started at 13 and now I am professional at makeup and I am now 19! Hope that works! =)

for me liquid is the best, it looks simple and clean. I use mac fluidline.. it seriously never smudges and i believe i started using it around 13. I think a reasonable age is 12-13, experimenting a little bit is always good.

If you want bold eyes, go for liquid

but if you want natural, then go pencil.
