iPod Touch has all those fun little applications and the WiFi which I found to be more of a gimmik. WiFi is only good if you're around an open network. The iPod Touch Gen2 for me tended to crash a lot when I kept running applications and switched to music. This crash is unavoidable if you do alotta applications. Quick fix though, you jsut need to do a cold boot.

I suggest waiting a bit for the ZUNE HD which would be a fair better comparison to the ipod Touch then jsut the normal Zune. The Zune HD will be Microsoft's newest touchscreen line of MP3 players, which includes HD Radio, and OLED screen, Multitouch, and a 16:9 aspect ratio screen.

I suggest looking into the Zune HD or the Sony Walkman X Series before buying an iPod Touch.

I personally have an ipod touch and I love it. I have friends who have a zune and honestly I think they are harder to use. My touch is very simple and I have had it since last Christmas, it has given me no issues. You can view photos and videos great and I am very happy with it. For the price it is well worth it. As for the zune holding more music and things than the ipod, well I think you wouldnt have that problem if you bought the right size space. Mine is 16 gb, and I havent filled it yet. It ahs internet and there are tonnes of fun games to play (and the touch screen makes it all better!) It also knows when your headphone suddenly come out of the ipod when your listening to music and mutes it so it doesnt make public noise (which i think is pretty cool) haha. If your still confused and you want a professional opinion go to wal mart or best buy and ask the employees for their opinion. The staff at best buy helped my buy a camera and Im glad i listened to them. =) have fun!

i would go for an itouch! i got one and i love it! it is like everything all rolled into one a calender, a clock, an alarm, music, movies, pics etc. i have an 8 GB I pod touch and its got just the right space for me. though i do not know much about zune i know that you can test songs from a friend's zune then after a few plays of that song you are offered to buy it. Handy or Not? Do your research and see which one is right for you. Good Luck!

Personally, I love the itouch. Wi-fi is great and I guess I'm just an Apple kind of person. All the cool apps aren't bad either. ;-) Good luck deciding.

zune no glitches, lots of space, great play list, holds music on pc as well as device. very user friendly. great community at zune.com

itouch definitely. you can do wifi on it (it's pretty decent, speed wise), upload your music, and even have apps if you're interested in playing games.
