So I'm taking a foreign language online and i would like to know which one is easier to learn Spanish or Chinese? I have Spanish now and I absolutely HATE it, so I'm thinking about doing a different class. Any opinions?

Chinese is pretty easy, Spanish on the other hand being the hardest one to learn, especially for an English native.
The more you know!
Spanish is easier as it does share some similarities to English. Same writing system and a vocabulary that is derived from latin.
Chinese is completely foreign. You would have to learn a whole new writing system that isn't phonetic as well you would have to learn the correct tones (something not present in English) to use with each word to be understood. Depending on what form of chinese, I know that mandarin has 3 tones and I know cantonese has more.
Chinese is way harder. Spanish is one of the easiest. There are so many chinese kanji it would take you such a long time to learn.
for a European Spanish is easier of these two
but
Chinese is more interesting
Chinese would definitely be harder. (Especially for me, my pronunciation in Chinese is just bloody awful!), however if you don't enjoy Spanish then switch to Chinese. Who knows, you could be really talented. Lol.
