everyone above are wrong, you can a great laptop from Currys online, try this link, I brought the £229 one for my son for school and it has vista and so much space its brilliant, perfect for gaming and downloading music and doing homework and they are wireless, and there is no postage. scroll down and just look at the prices an absolute bargain.

For that price you arn't going to get one.
For a decent gameing laptop you need to look at the Dell XPS range but still laptops are not the thing to get really if your going to be gameing a lot, you want a desktop.
A bit cheaper is the Dell Dimention range. You can buy a whole range of wireless cards from your local pc shop, as with everything you need to spend a bit for quality.
To be honest though your looking at £1000+ (new) for a good gameing laptop. As I said the Dell XPS range are the best around at the minute in my view. If gameing isnt that important then the Inspiron range. Never buy the cheapest, thats what I've learnt =]
lol "everybody above" are not wrong at all. If you pay below £400 you are going to get problems. It's a fact =]
Look for something with a Intel core 2 duo processor and 2G ram. £350 is probably not enough. Consider getting a normal computer - they're cheaper, and they'll last longer. Have a look in PC world, or Curry's.
What you are asking is not going to happen.
There are absolutely no laptops at that price range that will be sufficient to play graphic intensive games. Probably the newest game you would be able to play on a laptop for that price would be half life 2.
If gaming is more important than portability, go buy a good desktop. If portability is more important, go get a laptop.
Check out the following:
Alienware Aurora mALX
Dell XPS M1710
Roc Xteme 770
definitly get a portable laptop. The longer the battery life the better. I have a gaming laptop and its useless without a socket nearby. Unless you spend at least £1000 dont expect to play decent games on it
Depends on what games you are talking about tbh.
I dont really see a laptop of that price having a good RAM and graphics card in it.
Get a pc its cheaper, u can upgrade their specs aswell which is also handy
Aleinware are good but i think they are a bit expensive?

Dell Vostro 1400 or 1500 they look good and aren't that heavy
