Which name sounds better?
I am 35 weeks and need to figure out a name for this little one... we have it down to a couple, what do you think?
Boy
Alexander Noah (We're going to call him Alec)
Alexander Patrick- My parents first names start with an A and a P so I was thinking this would be cute)
Do you like Alec for a nick name for Alexander or should it just be it's own name?
Natalia Hope (calling her Tallie)
Alexa Paige (Lexie) Again using the A and P
My other childrens names are Nicholas,(7) Danny(5), Lily(5) and Joey(18 mo) Which of the girls names do you think goes better?

Noah is a really cute name, but I think Alexander Patrick flows so much better than Alexander Noah - Noah and Alexander both end in a similar 'uh' sound and I don't think they flow very smoothly together. Alexander Patrick is a really cute name, and it's nice that the AP initials have meaning to you. I also prefer Patrick as a middle name because it's much more unusual - Noah has become very popular recently.
I really like Alec as a nickname for Alexander - it's much more unusual than Alex. I like Alec as a name on it's own, but it wouldn't flow well with Patrick as a middle name because the two names rhyme, so I think it's best to stick with using Alec as a nickname for Alexander. I also love Xander as a nickname.
For a girl, I think Natalia Hope is really pretty - I love Talia as a nickname. Alexa is a really cute name too, but I think Natalia fits in better with the style of your other children's names. I love Lexie as a nickname for Alexa, but I think Lily and Lexie are quite similar names for sisters - Natalia Hope is my favourite, but I also think Natalia Alexis would be a really pretty name.

Boy: Its hard to pick Alexander Noah sounds better. Alec is ok on its own but I prefer Alexander
Girl: This is so hard! Natalia and and Alexa are 2 of my favorites but I pick Natalia Hope because its less common and I like Hope more than Paige the only probably is since you have Nicholas so it would be 2 N names, in which case Id pick Alexa

I see that you have Alexander Noah, but I was thinking that Alec Noah or Noah Alexander would be cuter. For a girl Alexa Paige is adorable and I think both names go really well if the other kids names.
Well, I'm not a fan of Alexa usually, but it goes well with your other children's names. Natalia doesn't fit in to the other names well.
Alexandra Patrick sounds very distinguished, and goes well with your other children. Alec is a perfectly fine nick name. Nick names are honestly up to you. You could call him Xan if you wanted to. Nick names don't seem to have as many boundries as first names.
If its a girl i would go with Alexa Paige because i dont rlly like the nick name Tallie but Lexie is adorable. and both boys names are nice

I like Alexander (my dad's name - he gets called Alec). Natalia and Alexa are both lovely names. But I don't understand why shorten such beautiful names? Let their school mates or work colleagues do that. My name is Suzanne and workmates and mates have all shortened it to Suzy. Whilst that's alright, it's not my name. Glad my family all call me Suzanne. My daughter's name is Samantha. We call her that, if I wanted her to be called Sam - I would have named her that.
