I do not like bottom lip piercings at all, they seem trashy and not professional to me, and most of people I know also feel that way, monroe's are very pretty, I had one for awhile (do not need any features to have it.. although sometimes they do look funny on people, not usually, i think if you have it too close to lip or too far, positioning makes it good/bad) HOWEVER it does leave a hole for about 2 months when you take it out, but you will not be able to fit anything in it because it may not appear closed but is.. then once it fades away you will always have a mark there, I still do.. and if you go into a certain career field, they are not accepted and truthfully, holes in the face are not pretty. i would honestly advise a nose piercing if you HAVE to eventually take it out or something, nose rings are very accepted in the majority of working fields.. and when you take them out they leave no scarring or holes. and I know some people say "but i can put a retainer in for work" they are noticeable and you will not be allowed to have those either, more so because it doesn't matter what it looks like, its for germ and sanitary purposes.

Well, it depends on what you look like. Most Monroe's look pretty (in my opinion) on females. But usually in the future you'll regret getting it because your left with a hole. (person experience).

Lip piercing i don't like unless its just a plain stud...no hoop. Looks kinda weird to me.
