I'm not sure what you are looking for. If you are looking for a straightening tool, I would recommend a ceramic iron. There are lots of great ones in the market (sedu, hai, chi, etc.) I have the hai, and works wonderfully, but I have also used the sedu, chi and the Bion from friends. They are all GREAT. Don't buy a cheap one, if you are going to invest, invest in the best ones--they are between $80 and $200.
You can buy them and read reviews at www.folica.com
If you are asking about a professional straightening, you might want to try Thermal Reconditioning (what people call Japanese perms) which basically straightens you hair using chemicals. Like all perms it is damaging, but you will not need to straighten your hair for months. I don't know how curly your hair is. If it is super curly/kinky, it will last you less time, because your roots will, of course, grow super curly and look funny with the rest of your hair straight. If your hair is wavy, the roots won't be as noticeable. My cousin has wavy hair, and she gets this done every 6 months. He hair is super straight and shiny. She just wakes up, brushes her hair, and is ready to go. And since she does not use any heat tools in 6 months, her hair is nice because she deep conditions twice a week. BUT, like I said, this is harsh. If you have tight curls (Afro latino/american) you might want to be careful. This type of hair tends to be dryer and more fragile. Make sure you go to a GOOD salon with a professional very experienced in this perm. Oh, and it is very expensive.
no straightener will not damage your hair. It all depends on what you do to your hair to prepare it to get straightened. I would suggest getting leave in conditioner and using it every daay before you straighten your hair. It will act as a heat protectant. Also, something you should stay away from is wet to straight straighteners. They literally are boiling the water in your hair. That is really really REALLY bad for your hair. Simply go to a large retailer like Target, and buy one of the 2" proffessional straighteners. they work like a charm. Make sure you get one with adjustable heat, for different types of hair!!!!
there is'nt any straightner that don't harm your hair the terrific ingredient is that in case you extremely desire to at present day your hair then .do no longer wash them on a daily basis wash them approximately 3 tims a week . do no longer dry them with hair dryer. . while unlikely any the place many of the situations plait it. you may now desire to be questioning how does that helpes it extremely does helps in basic terms try it for one month and you will comprehend the way it helps!!!!!
i am black and i dont get relaxers, i use the sedu, and i think its better than the chi. ever since i started using it my hair has more shine and my ends dont split as much. my hair is getting long. my hair is healthy and everything. it costs about 125 but its worth it. sometimes u have to spend more money to get something of good quality!!! go to folica.com and look at the reviews. it has the best reviews and it voted as the number 1 flat iron in america
chi straightenrs are the best. they wont damage your hair and they get hot really fast, they are expensive though. they are over $100 but they are well worth it.
