I'm writing a story its about an abusive relationship and the guy refusing to let her go. Which do you think sounds better?

or
I will never let you go
Update:if you want to give me and idea that's fine too. And fyi this isn't my life story its just based on abusive relationships

Most abusive relationships come from one person refusing to leave when they know they should, but it the case of this question: I will never let you go. Although it is kind of boring.
