I'm a strict Sikh which means I'm not allowed to drink/eat alcohol or have anything to do with it so that why I'm not sure whether these both contain alcohol or not because some websites say that the alcohol is burned off when you use it in cooking but others say it doesn't. Wikipedia says that in the old french vinegar is made from sour wine. So does this also mean that all vinegar contains alcohol. I was told that balsamic vinegar doesn't, but the rest does? I am very confused by this! Can anyone help me?
