I really need help with my assignement and I DO NOT understand... Nietzsche simply has a weird way of explaining himself :(
All I understand is that Nietzsche criticises Darwin and other physiologists that say that conserving oneself is the essence of life

He also goes on to criticize Darwin for promoting Utilitarianism and trying to pin a biological basis on altruism (thus Darwin never escaped Christian values and sympathy for the masses). Really ironic, since Nietzschean philosophy itself reeks of selfish Social Darwinism: he did say that people are wrong when they say survival is the goal of life, but also suggested that the motivation for life is "will to power", and promoted egoism. And he also misread The Origin of Species on many points.
